Tonight at 11pm EST – The debut of Saturday Night Sounds. Lorin Cutts talks with British singer/songwriter JONT about his life, his music and his spiritual journey. Two hours of top chat intersected with most of the tracks from his amazing new LP ‘Hello Halifax’.
Jont is a British singer/songwriter and a recent inhabitant of Halifax, Nova Scotia. With a loyal following around the world in the wake of his music having been featured on various US TV shows (including “Grey’s Anatomy”) and the hit film “Wedding Crashers” – he has also built a significant global community and fanbase through the success of his innovative traveling house concert series – “Unlit”. These “webisodes” had became a “viral internet phenomenon” by 2008 (The Guardian, UK), culminating in the sponsorship by UK mobile phone giant, Orange – who used the touring films as part of a huge marketing campaign. His “Troubadour Journey” saw him set off at the end of 2010 on a spiritual odyssey to be a “troubadour” for real – to travel with no plan, and to just let his songs organically lead him round the world – and which concluded with a tumultuous climax.
High Strangeness is now on hiatus. It ran for 11 episodes during 2012 and all are available in the KGRA archives at http://www.kgraradio.com/free-archives/. I plan on returning at some point in the future. Individual episode details can be found on this site.
I host my ‘High Strangeness’ show at KGRA.
I aim to open up and invigorate the debate within ufology regarding what exactly these objects are and examine the true nature of experiences that people appear to have around them. Through my own research I’ve come to the conclusion that by ignoring high strangeness events that occur to ufo and close encounter witnesses, we could well be missing a vital part of the puzzle.
So let’s not just talk about ET’s and aliens – but also the synchronicities, symbology, dreams, psychic, paranormal, spiritual and other para-psychological phenomena that appear to relate to the ufo subject.
High Strangeness with Lorin Cutts: Powered by Blue Microphones
Lorin Cutts talks with stalwart UFO researcher, Los Angeles based Ann Druffel – author of ‘The Tujunga Canyon Contacts’ and ‘How To Defend Yourself Against Alien Abductions’. Ann was one of the first UFO researchers to link the alien abduction phenomenon with similar folkloric tales of other cultures and believes that so called ‘alien’ abductions are perhaps not what they appear to be… and can also be averted. Lorin discusses her work, her beliefs and how perhaps the phenomenon fits in with a Christian/religious worldview (Ann is an Irish/American Catholic). They also discuss the historic case of Reverend Bailey who not only managed to end decades long ‘alien’ intrusions into his life, but also managed to capture several photographs of the visitors with a Polaroid camera given to him by Ann. These have been scientifically analyzed and are some of the most convincing photographs ever taken.
Lorin also talks with fellow Global Radio Alliance co-host and ufology cheerleader, Chase Kloetzke. Chase has some of the best credentials in the business, having spent 20 years at the Department of Defense designing specialist training programs for the US Military… and then becoming Star Team Manager at MUFON (The Mutual UFO Network) where she had first hand experience investigating some of the best cases reported to MUFON. This lead to Chase and her team even having a Close Encounter of the Third Kind themselves – something she talks candidly about on the show. They also discuss the controversial Bigelow Aerospace deal with MUFON and the potential cover-up of important data regarding the UFO subject.. and also about ‘The Resistance’ – the new campaign Lorin and Chase have started to draw attention to the often unfair treatment the UFO subject gets in the mainstream media… and to advocate the use of alternative media outlets to distribute quality information regarding paranormal research.

High Strangeness episode 9 was first broadcast at 8pm EST, Sunday 18th November at http://www.kgraradio.com
High Strangeness 8 – The Very Essence Of High Strangeness: Lorin Cutts with Margie Kay & Jari Mikkola
Lorin Cutts talks with renowned psychic, remote viewer, UFO/alien experiencer/researcher and fellow Global Radio Alliance host and partner, Margie Kay. Margie has done psychic work for the Kansas City PD, solved missing persons cases, done many years of front line paranormal research and had some highly unusual experiences along the way.
Jari Mikkola is the brains behind the International Spirits, Shadows and Secrets Symposium in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2013 – and explains his background in paranormal research. He also explains how the conference appears to be being helped from forces from elsewhere resulting in some rather interesting EVPs (electronic voice phenomena).
Both perhaps represent a different way in trying to view and correlate UFO and alien experiences alongside other paranormal subjects – and perhaps see it as part of a bigger whole. An approach that can possibly ask broader questions of these subjects, our universe and the world we live in.
