Saturday Night Sounds 02 – Mack Maloney

Just finished recording the next edition of Saturday Night Sounds that will air next Saturday at 11pm EST after The Richard Dolan Show on KGRA.
This show features best selling science fiction writer, fellow KGRA radio host and songwriter and recording artist, Mack Maloney. Mack has written over 40 books and sold over 4.5 million copies.. and in 2010 delivered a stunning artist album – ‘Sky Club’. He drops in to talk about this amazing record and the story behind it, his writing career and his interest in the UFO subject. Even when turning his hand to writing non-fiction about the UFO subject, his book ‘UFOs In Wartime’ has been described as one of the best books ever written on the subject. But it’s Mack’s music we primarily focus on in this interview. So join me, Lorin Cutts, on Saturday February 2nd at www.kgraradio.com
Saturday Night Sounds 01 – Jont
Tonight at 11pm EST – The debut of Saturday Night Sounds. Lorin Cutts talks with British singer/songwriter JONT about his life, his music and his spiritual journey. Two hours of top chat intersected with most of the tracks from his amazing new LP ‘Hello Halifax’.
Jont is a British singer/songwriter and a recent inhabitant of Halifax, Nova Scotia. With a loyal following around the world in the wake of his music having been featured on various US TV shows (including “Grey’s Anatomy”) and the hit film “Wedding Crashers” – he has also built a significant global community and fanbase through the success of his innovative traveling house concert series – “Unlit”. These “webisodes” had became a “viral internet phenomenon” by 2008 (The Guardian, UK), culminating in the sponsorship by UK mobile phone giant, Orange – who used the touring films as part of a huge marketing campaign. His “Troubadour Journey” saw him set off at the end of 2010 on a spiritual odyssey to be a “troubadour” for real – to travel with no plan, and to just let his songs organically lead him round the world – and which concluded with a tumultuous climax.
